The 7100 is a great camera, but the 7200 has some very nice additional features and capabilities. Hope you get what you want.

The camera wouldn't turn off for me and I was still able to take pictures in the off switch but my lcd was black, I had to remove the battery to power off

It was an open box purchase so I just got my money back and going to buy brand new instead. This camera is on sale for 1199CDN for the 18-140 kit lens ,tripod and bag. I was just wondering if this camera is known to have any issues I need to worry about? Should I get this camera again now or wait till the 7200 kit lens goes on sale.

I have the D7100 and it was a Refurb. I haven't had any problem with it so far. <Knocking on my head---It's wood>:D I really like it.
