No, not luck. Sometimes just handling a new piece of equipment over time, nuances get figured out. I think you are becoming friends with your camera. I am guessing your keeper rate is increasing too

talking of hotels, my wife won a silent auction for the local kids hospital, 2 or 3 night stay in the London Bridge resort in Lake Havasu AR, we won this before about 5 years ago, so looking forward to going back, maybe get to see some new birds? I had a D60 and 200mm lens the last time.
