i did a lot of yard work yesterday now that it as cooled down (and the wife told me too lol), pulled out a tree stump and cut the other one down and cut them into smaller pieces, left with one stump (still in the ground but wobbling a lot) and one large log, i will need to hire a larger chain saw to finish the job. My arms and back were tight last night, had to pay Rebecca $2 for a back massage, child labor i know. lol

not a lot today, More work around the house for the boss, re-arranging furniture. Foster parent Home inspection must be coming soon.

thats San Jacinto covered in cloud/mist, the sun tried to peak though the clouds behind us.

a tough day of shooting in this light, slow SS not ideal for hand held.

of course the merlin sits 30ft away, maybe he couldnt see me in the mist? lol, if it was sunny he would have been well back.

i thought the middle one was a Brewers Blackbird (female) but a search is saying a rusty blackbird?

tough to shoot bif at 1/160 hand held, i turned the engine of for a little help with vibration.

i am seeing alot of snipes lately, all the others just seem to drive by them, maybe they are looking for the larger birds?

a Orange crowned warbler? @wev and my first sighting of a Ruby Crowned Kinglet this winter.
