the small rock near the foreground is where i have been getting the Juvi green heron the last few days, the rocks behind that is where the rock wrens are hanging out.

struck gold tonight, backup for my 52 weekly if i dont see the Whydahs on Sunday.

i was in San Diego to pick up something and took a quick run over to Ocean Beach.

I think this may be a Juvi Royal Tern???? i suck at adult birds never mind when they are Juvi's.

don't know why he is sitting in the grass with the pigeons, but that allowed me to get close.

i did take a 3rd shot of the Heron on the timer, set it up and pushed, turned around to help Ryan with something and when i got back to the camera the bird had flew and i had a shot of the water. lol
