i like the colors on these swallows

on the way out i spotted this osprey having lunch, he must have plucked it out of lake perris a few miles away.

wasnt long and he had enough of me gawking at him and off he flew.

luckily he landed 5 poles further up the road.

he wasnt getting any peace to eat so of he went again.

i found him again and he had eaten the head of it, i sat for about 10 mins and he never touched it, the sun was cooking my arms hanging out the car window, so i gave up.

took Ryan out to lake skinner for a few hours this morning.

lots of waxwings about today, i had to shoot the spotted towhee even looking towards the sun, a few orioles too.
