the last 5 posts i was testing out a new 70-300 nikkor, i noticed it locked focus way faster than the 55-300, slightly longer and a little heavier.

Looks finchy to me. They are pretty birds, and I love when the House Finches drop by. I like that you caught him in the fence links.

took a drive over to lake skinner with David this morning.

i spotted the hawk flying past me, followed it and inched past it at about 15 ft away, he was watching something in the grass, never got anything though?

ahh, baby killdeers, spotted 4 of them, i wondered why the parent came running towards me? usually its the other way they run.
