I had all but given up on spotting another one of these. I had to climb into the shrub to get a clear shot of it.

I wish I had better images of the waxwings, but they flew up into a tall tree. They had landed in my pecan tree but didn't stay but a second.

I thought this was a hybrid curved billed thrasher/red winged black bird, but I guess he was trying out his new nose job?

I believe you. We have had them in flocks flying through the neighborhood for a couple weeks, but they don't stay in one place very long. I was lucky to get some fuzzy images at all. They seem to flock in late afternoon, so I am going to keep looking for them.

I am tempted to take my big lens to work tomorrow and go back to see if its still about.
