they are nice @Kevin H about as common as the grey ghost, if i do see them its dim light and they are far away, this was was in a field in between housing, along the run off ponds i walk, i will be back checking it again.
i spotted the harrier coming over the next field, usually they glide, this was was on a mission, going like a rocket, cleared the pond of the egrets ibis and curlews in one fly by.
