i tired whistling at the yellow throat to get it to come closer, no joy, sang back at me. lol

a heron did a flyby, it was past me when i spotted it.

my resident Say's Phoebe, second time on the nest this year, i hear the chicks cheeping, must get the ladder out soon.

spoke sooner than i thought about the ladder, one of the chicks was sitting in the porch when i came home from the store, had to get my ladder and put it back in, i think the other chick has pushed it out, it was twice its size and was pecking at me when i was setting the other one in the nest.
