i got home and took a 7 mile bike ride, took my camera in case i saw the Burrowing Owl again.

sitting in his usual spot, i was about 12 -15 ft from him.

after my 3 and final lap i stopped again, i was probably about 7 ft from him this time, as it was darkish now i thought i would try a flash shot to see if he was up for that? never flinched, pity he didnt look at me this time.

this was not cropped, but i did have to make it under 70 on the long side to post it.

nothing much to shoot at today, its almost the weekend.

i tried to get on the other side of it (sun) but it flew of after i fired this shot.

i may need to bring my branch clippers into work to get better access to this, a Bushtits nest, crappy shot but i will try again.

didnt see any activity around the nest today, quite a long nest for such a small bird (bush tit).
