I took a trip out to lake skinner and met the resident bird guy in the carpark, he told me there was nothing, he was leaving, so I said I need the walk and would probably get some landscape shots.

I did good, lol, must have hid from him?

the redtail is double banded! another first with the junco, crappy shot too.

so as we were leaving I always set my camera on my lap as we drive out, you never know what's about!!

spotted this to my left good distance away

no time to alter anything, quick look in the rear mirror, slammed on the brakes while hanging out the window tying to get focus, it flew over a hill, I was hoping to see if it landed at a nest somewhere, but that's quite a few sightings of them now at skinner.

forgot to add it has a fish, so it is going somewhere close, lake is about a half a mile back.

San Jacinto again, lots of shots, got feed up going thru them, at least 4 first timers for me, Virginia rail, green winged teal, northern pintail and a gallinule?? another one I just don't have a clue.
