i went back up to Lake Hemet before the rain comes, due to get storms (el nino's) in the next few weeks, supposed to be heavy rain which we could well do with, anyway never saw the eagles but got lots of birds some of which i will need help identifying, so feel free to "chirp in" if you know what they are.

according to my book these two are a ladder-backed woodpecker and a white-breasted nuthatch???
