we had a thunderstorm move thru the area, giving out flash flood warnings until thursday, so i get to see a few clouds for a change.

some fish pics today, 1st ones of my work tank, all clean and algae free, think the 2 snails helped alot.

After seeing them i think i need more DOF.

now my home tank, neglected big time, but its on the mend, just the center rock and plants to recover.

i think i will dump about 6 snails in here to see what they can do.

according to my bird book this is a sharp shinned hawk, eating what i think was a starling.

the run-off ponds got re-filled after the two storms we had.

back up to Yorba Rec Park, i do have a soft spot for the wood ducks

with those colors it looks like Autumn, well it cooled down to 95 today, maybe its coming soon.

i have no idea what this old car is

the lizard would have been 2 inches/50mm long.

we were sitting at the benches having a rest when i heard a different but familiar sound, for some reason i said that sounds like the whydah, so out looking and i spotted something different flying into the tree, turns out it was a male, he has some length of tail feathers on him.
