got the Burrowing owl again, only saw 1 and he flew of into the field behind this one.

i dont know what the Kestrel is eating, it went pretty quick anyway.

the following are the result in testing out AF-C and continually holding the back button focus , i decided to try this out rather than my old focus and shoot method, impressed, just wish i had saw the ibis take of, i did wait a second or two between shoots just to see.

this is another test, i focused on the ibis and then let it walk between the reeds, didnt expect it to raise its wings though.

@RON in the AF-C mode once you get the focus you let go of the BBF and it stays locked no matter what comes in between (well thats what the video shows), i need to do it a few times so it sinks in. Liking this way, i want to try it on a dragonfly, seems ok on the bigger birds even if the settings are not perfect.

Some great shots Roy. One of my favorite landscape spots has shore rock / rip rap like in your pic. Dangerous to travel over but makes a nice foreground on pics.
