This is going to make my challenge a little bit interesting.
Seems I have pulled/damaged a ligament, don't know how? But I am in better shape than I was this morning, they have me on steroids and pain meds, so starting to feel a lot better, only got two shots so far, I will up load them later, still failing asleep on and off.

Oh that sucks, didnt see this the other day. Wishing you a speedy recovery.

Generally, about 18 to 24 days. Five days in they will have open eyes and a day or two later, full down. They will grow and start setting pin feathers; when the down has sloughed off, they will be ready to go.

@realuvsdolphins i bent down about 2 foot, its on a bush beside the sidewalk, real open, surprised the kids havent spotted it

@roy, a bush!! LOL!! I was going to say that's awesome but I'm petrified of heights!! I need to get some hummingbird feeders this year. We have a lot of them in my neighborhood.

went back to work today then finally sorted out my contributor payment, so only got a few shots of a mocking jay in the neighbors front yard. I always like to post a few different shots, but this is it for today, unless the moon come out?

a few from today,

my neighbors bottle brush tree starting to bloom (late), maybe i will get a few hummers

i didnt see the bee/fly until PP, i was in a shaded place when i took this

i went up to see the Owl and Hawks nest, Hobbled up the hill all for nothing, both mums sitting on theirs nest, man was it hard to go back down, my good leg is knackered now. lol Ryan spotted the Egret, so i got a few shots.

it will be a real challenge with an injury but it can be done. I shot a lot of the last 3 months of my challenge from my car due to an injury. If we see 30 days of hummer shots it is ok, better than messing with healing time. Take care.
