i must say i had another fun morning of shooting, walked over 3.5 miles, slow pace with all the stopping for shooting, enjoyed it.

A few shots from today, it was quite windy, i am surprised the dragonfly came out, it was rocking pretty good and my lense was hard to keep steady.

if only the other goldfinch had sat 2 seconds longer

maybe if i stand like the reeds he wont see me

this was as close as i got to the egrets, two of them in the ponds but flew of as soon as they saw me.

looks like a fire on the north east side of Big Bear, it must be fire season in so cal now.

i must check to see if there are any flames visible when it gets darker.

a few from today

i spotted this on an American (spelt out) sign in the park, couldnt get a shot of it, too many people standing in front of it

i sat and watched this pair of Bluebirds feeding their young, the nest was inside a slide in the park, funny thing was i could hear people saying "whats he shooting at", " must be birds high in the sky because he has his lense extended", i turned around to see them looking skywards, lol, didnt have the heart to tell them.

they were constant with the feeds, the mother was in first go everytime, dad had lots of refusals and sometimes making it on his 3rd go.
