i was testing out a mates flash extender today, it was good in under the trees, but did my make my camera heavy, i can shoot with this normally for a few hours before i feel the weight, but after about 15 mins i could notice it. i should really try it in the dark to see what its like, maybe tomorrow night

I emptied Ryan's SD card, he had something like 175 pics on it, most of them were of inside the car. Here are a few, apart from the shoveler (straightened) most are what he took.

Thanks marilynne n mike, sometimes he is getting frustrated finding the subject when he zooms in, hes not steady enough yet. Still enjoying it, plus he is keeping a little quieter around the birds now.

these where taken with a D7000 and 70-300mm lens.

He did struggle a little with the weight at first and still wants to look thru the live view, he is using BBF.
