My wife has volunteered as a deputy, to keep the candidates and their people the required distance from the voting location.

Good for her. While there was talk of disrupters, our polling place saw no evidence of it and we closely monitored the entrance to our polling place just in case of problems. The election was hectic but totally civil and went off without a hitch. Of course, I can not know how it might have been elsewhere but here in Western Pennsylvania everyone seemed cheerful and polite.

I loved the look of this, the stately tree throwing a blanket of leaves on the graves below to shield them from the winter snows. Of course it is not true, the groundskeepers will come by shortly and take the fallen leaves away. But that is then and this now _AAA9511 - Version 2.jpg
