I really like this!

I am pleased with it even if I cannot say exactly why. This is next to an artificial waterfall that is out of frame and the fog is produced by a mist machine hidden behind the plants.

This for me Ron. I think it's centered better. The second is to close to the left and the third is to close to the bottom.

Went down the Blue Ridge Parkway last Thursday to music venues in Southern Virginia. Here is just one view from the Parkway

"when the white rose blooms again"

One of the best views of Pittsburgh is from the West End Overlook and the white rose above was growing at the entrance to park. I am surprised that so few people come to this park except on holidays.

For the last 10 years or so I have been aware of the Big Leaf Magnolia. My attempts to capture a bloom along the Blue Ridge Parkway have always met with failure. Two years ago I became aware that a small grove of these trees exist in a Pittsburgh Park. Last year I just missed capturing on of their blossoms. This year i promised myself that i would do so. As the time grew near I took to visiting the grove every two days and finally my persistence paid off. I can now take this off my bucket list and find a new obsession.
