Sidelined most of week with hand injury but managed to get one photo I kinda liked yesterday. Do not chase the little critters much but this one would not go away. _AAA6166 - Version 2.jpg

We are coming up to my favorite season so it is time to start doing landscapes although the trees here have not yet started to turn. So I give you a field of soybeans._AAA6317 - Version 2.jpg

Lousy week. Cold and rainy. Too, too much work to do. had to postpone my trip because of the bad weather. Saturday morning we are on our way to breakfast and I pass this lonely flower shivering in the cold Autumn rain. Went back to car and fetched my camera and took this portrait while my wife held the umbrella to keep the camera dry._AAA6381 - Version 2.jpg

My artist friend Walt, passed away from cancer a number of years ago. My favorite painting of his was an autumn woodlot scene. This is my best effort, to date, to duplicate it. As an aside, he would photograph a scene and then paint it later using his photo as a guide. I imagine that every year I will continue to try and duplicate the painting until it is absolutely as close to the original as possible. But until then, this one's for you Walt._AAA6660 - Version 2.jpg

Driving by the cemetery the other day I spotted this tree and came back to photograph it later in the day even though it was raining. One of the nicer trees I have captured this fall._AAA6706 - Version 2.jpg
