You're lucky Fedex delivers on Saturdays. Ordered mine three weeks ago and it arrived at the camera store yesterday. I'll be picking it up this morning.

No not another one and especially you,your shots take some chasing while your using the 300mm not sure your allowed a 600mm

Mine arrived.... 1st test shots shortly! It is BIG and HEAVY... BUT, I am gonna have fun!

Ok, nothing exotic but here are the 1st test shots... Straight out of camera, Zero edits/crops/sharpen etc...

A comparison with some other lenses...

35mm Prime




18-105, ....................................50mm ................................................................... and 105mm






55-300 Nikon ................................. 100mm ............................................................and 300 mm (previously Longest)






Tasmron 150 - 600 ..................................150mm ...................................................and 600mm (my new Longest!)






Both these at 600mm to see the moving flags.....






1st tests, impressed and Pleased... Now I need to get to the Wildlife Refuge.. (probably tomorrow)
