Hello to all!

It has been just over a week since since I started my new adventure. I thought I would update you all on my move. The drive down was smooth and uneventful and we arrived on Monday. Had dinner with kids that evening and Tuesday did a final walkthrough before closing. Closing was extremely smooth and was complete in 33 minutes.

We went shopping for furniture and before the day was out, we bought 3 complete rooms, living,dining and bedroom. That was delivered on Thursday. Saturday the kids and grandkids were out and then we picked up the Miata. The transport with the motorcycles is arriving today between 12 & 2. We have not heard yet from the main mover with the bulk of our stuff.

I have taken only a few pictures because of being so busy with getting settled in. I did locate a wildlife refuge that i hope to get some future shots at. My computer gear is not yet here so I cannot procesx raw files yet.

I have some pics from the listing of thehouse I will put up later. Anxious to get settled and back involved with Nikonites.

Welcome back Pat! Glad to hear everything went smooth.

Well, a major setback on picture posting..... my computer and all post process is in my move shipment. it was due not later than today but i was unable to get any further details. Late yesterday i went over the head of my local agent to a corporate CS Representative. My goods have Not left the origin (Nashua nh). I was obviously not pleased... The girl will followup with any activity as it happens such as assigning a driver... it appears they have had a driver shortage?

Heading off to the wildlife preserve to scout out photo ops.

What a sad thing... Why didn't they even think to notify you... Hope they find someone to drive soon.
