You should at least retire on July 5th, oops, that's a Saturday, make that July 7th, so you get paid for the holiday.

Day 41 - Feb 10, 2014.....

It was a rough day at work.... customers in from 8am until 2:00pm... I knew I would not get out today so I was gonna take a couple product and a couple construction shots. So I thought.... Let me tell you a story... Like many other days, as I went to leave for work, the door to the cards was open... I snapped it closed, as we all know the D7100 has 2 cards... I always keep 2 in it... so If one is out to d/l pics, I still have one.. So, after closing the door, latching the bag.. I drove to work.

Shortly after arrival, I went to take a picture of my demolished office... "E", yes the BIG "E"! Guess what??? what did I shoot yesterday??? Yes, the D5100 and it only has one card... OUCH!

So... grabbed a couple quick shots when I got home.... D7100 with sigma 105 mm macro

Icecicles... off the deck and off the house......

So you grabbed the wrong camera? You know the D5100 is smaller and lighter.

Never took it out of the bag yesterday... and it was fine for today had I not forgotten what it was and that it only had one memory card! :)

I have been shooting just my D7000 recently and for some reason I picked up the D5100 to shoot something fast and had forgotten how much lighter it is. My wife is really enjoying shooting it now though.

It's good that you use both. I used my friends D5100 last week and not only is it much lighter, but I couldn't remember where anything was.

Some great shots here. A few are like a bad nightmare as I use to be an injection mould tec but I'm almost over that now. I only wake up a few times a night to answer imaginary machines. Even to this day as I open the bin to put the rubbish in I check to see if its running low on material.
