Well, I am back!!! :) Been gone off on the motorcycle since last Wednesday... Went down to JAX for the IBA (Iron Butt Assoc) meeting of long distance riders... Had a great time, especially seeing some of my old friends, many of which I have not seen in a year or more...

A couple gator shots when I was taking my grandson through the Refuge... He had never seen a gator in the wild and we managed to see 7 that day!

I have been swamped and not much chance to get out and shoot... will head out later today for the Refuge...

In the interim, I did play some with B&W processing and these are my favorites... (xposted to B&W also)

Thanks!! :) It was funny because I was using a 600 mm lens and in the viewfinder, you did not see the detail on the cat and the black almost looked like a muzzle or something.

did some extreme interpretation in a copy for the 2nd pic...
