This would be a good candidate for placing a face on it like Marcel did with the cliff in one of his pictures if you could figure out how he did it.

Thanks everyone for the comments on the "stump". I kept going round & round with that one.. each iteration was better than original but missing something, them I got here and said... "Thats It!"

Day 305 - November 1st, 2013
TGIF - actually mild today but windy, gusts to 40mph... and rainy...
Tool sections on the bench..... and one of the First Aid stations around the plant
Most important thing when I leave the house for work... My lunch kit and my camera kit (sitting on a stand in my office)
2nd shot is of the rain as I was driving at break, looking for a shot or two...
These 2 shots were at a garden center north of town... Then it was back to work....

Day 306 - November 2nd, 2013
Remember (in the US with Daylight Savings Time) that the clocks go back an hour tonight.... I was up early this am, was going to a Ham Radio Flea mart 2 towns over, mostly to donate to the repeater club and meet some of the people I talk to regular in the area...
I made a couple stops along the way to snap my dailey pictures....

Ok, now my new neighbor is very nice.... and I do not have a thing against Christmas..... BUT...
Putting decorations out before Thanksgiving is just wrong (imo) and putting them out Novenber 1st
is really beyond what I can accept!!!!
We went out to breakfast early, then headed to the dog park... on the way, spotted some wild turkeys~
Balance of shots are at the Hudson Dog Park... The white American Eskimo is mine...
All of the above photo's were shot with my D5100 and 55-300 Nikon Lens!

The first shots are all 12 mm wide angle using my 12 -24 Tokina.... 3 are at work and I like the 3rd the best..
The 2nd one here is at Horseshoe... I like it the best of the set....
These ducks, well as I pulled up to the pond... there they were... the other times I took the 300, no ducks!!
Today all I had was the Ultra Wide and the 105 so these were shot with the 18-105 ..

Thanks Alan... There is a pretty good size flock in the area... they have passed right through my yard before... They do not stay long if I get out of the truck. This was shot through an open window...

dark when I went in, dark when I cam out (of work).. That can get real depressing!!
Sunrise as arrived at work... a dis-assembled tool on the maintenance bench
Both shot with the 18-105 on the D7100
These 2 were shot at the entry to Horseshoe pond... Both with 55-300
Ducks were out again... struggled to get shots between the trees....
On the way out, spotted the Heron... could not get him clear of the trees...
