That is amazing. Are you shooting RAW? 14 or 12 bit?

Raw, 14 bit, converted to DNG on import to LR, then cleaned up.

I was shocked! I've spent many minutes with a tripod and long shutter speeds just to get slightly better shots.

I'll post the original when I get back. Playing taxi cab for the kiddo right now.

Just realized I was doing this all wrong!

100% crop cleaned up

100% crop not touched.

...and the 100% is +/- a tad. Still haven't figured out how to do an exact crop in LR.

Just googled how to crop 100%, now I'm just more confused. Guess I'm doing a 1:1 crop, which might be different on other monitors. Well, whatever, I zoomed in a bunch so you could see the noise. LOL

Glad I don't test cameras for a living.

I hate noise so I really haven't done much over iso 800 but when on vacation I did actually get up to iso 5000 and I was impressed. Guess I need to get out of my comfort zone and let my iso creep up once in awhile :)

Very nice shot, noise from high ISO can be challenging. I recommend to anyone to start playing with it, it could mean the difference of getting the shot or not. I was pretty impressed with my D7000 but more with the D600.

good job at cleaning it up, that is a test of frustration all by itself if you have the right software.

My wife drug out the Christmas tree and stuff in preparation for the weekend after Thanksgiving. The cat knows what's in the bag, and has been spending a large majority of his time on it, waiting. He loves to climb it. I put guy-wires on the tree so he doesn't knock it over.

Of course he always looks happy, until I pull the camera out...

Today we went house shopping.

Today we're not going to get this house.

LOL

It was a short sale house, with this detached 20x40 indoor pool. The pool itself is in incredible shape!

The house... not so much.

With the amount of money it'd take to fix the house, we could get a house and build this pool, and still have money left over.

Such a shame really.

Winemaking can be really gross. The smell ain't the best either!

Primary Fermenter after racking to Secondary Fermenter.
What's left is called the lees. This is what I use to make Skeeter Pee.

Ángel Blanco, an easy drinking, well-rounded white wine, with appealing fruit flavors and aromas. Rich, bold, and fruity from a multi-vinifera of Chardonnay, Muscat and Riesling that delivers up a floral aromatic nose and a fine mix of peach, honey, and pineapple fruit, finishing with a perfect balance of acidity and fruitiness.

30 bottles in the making, day 2 in the Secondary Fermenter. I sure hope the Elderflowers eventually sink, or I'm gonna have a fun time with this one! I should probably go read up on that, huh? I'm sure they will.

You sure sound like you know what you're doing. Enjoy!
