Today was all about fixing the odometer in the truck. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't work. It's a known problem with the F150's right around 1999ish.
The problem is a cold solder joint. It's been bothering me for a few years now. Never had the motivation to tear apart the dashboard just to fix it until today. Figured I would replace the burned out cruise control light also.
Here's the offending solder joint.
Oh, and there is no cruise control light. 'tiz probably why it doesn't work, huh?

Poor Avery yes my hubby has gotten quite a few of those photos LOL We used to worry about son when he started his poultry hobby at 6yrs old but now at 10yrs he takes it in stride and buries them. Everything loves chicken dinner 
I hate wires they are always messing up my shots but that is a cool sky
I hate wires they are always messing up my shots but that is a cool sky I still get more than my share of those types of photos. They can truly ruin an otherwise excellent photo.

I think I figured out my focus issue. The camera was set in Release Priority instead of the Focus Priority I used to have it set to. Wonder what I was doing that I changed it, then promptly forgot I changed it. Anyway, seems things are back to the way they used to be now.

It was much more fun than that! I used a tightrope unicyclist riding clown to cover the sun!

That is a 99 Expedition. We bought it with something like 20-30 thousand miles on it. Should hit the big 300 next week!
