Day 188

So my wife tells me that Macy's mom said she really appreciated the photos I took of her as she's never had a professional photography session with her before.

Well, she still hasn't had a professional photography session, but we took her outside in between rain showers and took some photos. Hopefully they're a little better than the typical cell phone pictures. That's all I'm really going for here. Oh, and I got some more flash practice in, and today I've learned I really really really need an external flash, diffusers, and whole bunch of stuff!

Here's some B&W from the same session. I've never really liked any of my black and whites. I just think something is missing, and I'm not sure what it is. Perhaps I'll figure it out someday.

Cool... And strange... I'm going to go put my migraine to bed, with some help of the wine now.

Nasty storm came through today too. Straight line winds blew a train right off the track about 20 miles down yonder. Eeek! The track has been eerily quiet since 1:30 today.
