I love this shot. This little rabbit was keeping his ears up for you. Ready to run.

Thanks!

I went outside later, and he was back. I took one step at a time very slowly, and got within 5 feet of him. He stared at me just like that photo, and I stared at him for about five minutes. Then he just went back to eating, and I walked in the barn. He never did run. Must be getting used to me. Of course, where's the camera? Inside the house... :eyetwitch:

I used to have pet rabbits that liven in the yard. They would sleep in their hutch and eat there and the rest of the time they just ran around the yard. They are so much fun to watch.

Our place usually looks like Watership Down. Both the good, and the bad parts. The bad is when the dogs show up at the doorstep with 6 or 7 parts of one rabbit. Ewww...

WE had a little chihuahua that shared the yard. She would chase the rabbit around. We also has a small fish pond and the rabbit would go and drink from the pond. The little dog would go up behind the rabbit and nudge it into the pond and then circle around so the rabbit could not get out. One day the rabbit who was about twice the size of the dog got tired of the dog bothering him and when the dog came up behind the rabbit and nudged him the rabbit swung around and stomped his back foot on the ground and stared down the little chihuahua. From that point on the dog never came close to the rabbit again.

Day 180

Today, my son and I gathered up eye of newt, and toe of frog, wool of bat, and tongue of dog, adder's fork, and blind-worm's sting, lizard's leg, and howlet's wing. Then we mixed it all together and wound up with homemade laundry soap! HE machine approved!

I never knew eye of newt was purple!

Day 181 (More Flash Practice!)

After much technical difficulties of a stuck fermentation, stabilization issues, CO2 degassing problems, and clarification problems, I think I finally got it licked!

The Skeeter Pee got bottled today!

No aging is required for this wine, so three days for the bottle shock to calm down, and it'll be ready for July 4th!

Not sure I could ever drink anything called Skeeter Pee. LOL

I recently started playing with my SB-720. Before that I had only put it on the camera 1 or 2 times for a quick picture. I am impressed with the flash so far.

Which flash are you playing with?

Day 182

Well, it was a rainy icky day, so I stayed in and worked on wine labels all day... Then I remembered to take a picture, so here it is!

I just don't understand Gimp at all... I should've outsourced it to my daughter who not only has photoshop, but knows how to use it!

Day 183

More labeling today! Chopped up and pasted 90 labels on 60 bottles. At least I got done before it got dark out!

Day 184

This is a circuit board with a transistor that has had an uncontained internal failure. Exciting stuff, I know, but it's the only picture I took today.

Looks like Macy is going to be with us until Sunday. So guess what photos are going here for a few days?

Day 186

Breakfast with more Flash Photos!

It started off the same way as it did last night. The Flash was too harsh. So I grabbed a coffee filter and a rubber band to hold it around my little popup flash.

I think it looks much better with diffused light.

I do believe this is the first time my daughter has fed another human being besides herself.

The outcome is the same though...

Almost walking...

Such concentration!

I think she's getting ready to roll a strike!
