The pool is coming along nicely. The green is starting to give way to a more greyish color. That's dead algae, totally a good thing. I backwashed my filter and got a lot of ick out of there. I'm completely happy with the progress. It won't be long now before it's crystal clear again!

It'll be crystal clear in time for the ICE to form this winter!

Does look good though. You can see the treads on the third step down!

Ok, my pool photos are boring.

So, to stay with the boring theme, here's my old razor I pulled out of the ether. My little one needs to start shaving, so figured we'd give him my electric to start with. (I'm getting soooo old) I used to use this thing when I absolutely had to shave every day. Now I only need to shave whenever. So, we stick it in the charger and a day later it still doesn't work. Figured the batteries were shot, so I took it apart to replace the non-replaceable batteries. Sure enough, crusty crust all over the batteries. Unsoldered the batteries from the circuit board and found replacements for just under 10 bucks delivered. They'll be here Thursday.

My son was active ARMY at the time stationed in Afghanistan. The Army required him to start growing it two months before he was deployed so it be full by the time he got there. He was given a lot of grief when he came home for two weeks during the middle of the deployment. Higher ranking Sgt. would stop him in airports since he had to wear his uniform while traveling. He would just show them his Special forces patch and they would quietly back off and leave him alone. He was MI embedded with a Special Forces unit for the deployment.

Well, it's been raining since I got home, so you guys have totally lucked out today as I'm not dragging the camera out in the rain just to take a picture of water.

The UPS guy delivered the new batteries today and left them on the porch. It wasn't our porch, but it was a porch. So here's something just as boring as my pool water.

Everyone can breath a sigh of relief now. This is the end of my boring photo series. All I have to do is vacuum the little bit of dirt up, and it's all done! Back to my regularly scheduled maintenance.

Well... My wife is back at school now, stealing my computer all the time. Guess I'll post photos as I can.

Here's a spider I almost walked right into. I would've screamed like a little girl if I did. Not because of the spider, but because I hate walking into spider webs.

Nice spider shot. My wife and I both have laptops as our main computers but we do have a New desktop that we share. I have it set so that the libraries are all synced between laptops and our own user desktop on the main computer so that we can always work on either computer and have all our files to work with. She teaches so she is gone all day so I try and get all my heady duty Photoshop editing while she is gone.
