7/25/13 <--- Better, eh?

At the end of our driveway is a GeoCache.

10 miles away, there are 1500 GeoCachers attending the MidWest GeoBash this weekend.

All I was going to do was put a special logbook in it, but I found someone had actually put suckers, and blowpops, and tootsie pops, and loose skittles in it. Remember me cooking an egg on the pavement last week? Yeah, the candy didn't make it through that heat so well... So I spent two hours cleaning the cache, and throwing stupid swag out, and cleaning the better swag... Nice.

Our Geocache, "Tim's Cache!"

i thought you had to do a little hunting to find geochaches, you make it look to easy. Maybe a
nice radioactive sign on the side would be nice. Lol

This is considered a "drive-up, easy" cache. We have a few others around here that require some hiking, and/or hunting for. This one is at the end of our driveway, so we don't want a bunch of people hunting around for it. There's a big ditch/raging river (Depending on the season) about 20 feet from the cache. Don't want anyone falling in, they'd probably sue us. I thought about a hazardous material sign once, but someone would probably call the cops instead of seeing the joke in it. People in general aren't the brightest. i.e. putting food in a cache that sits outside. A. That's gross, no one is going to eat it. (I hope) B. It tends to attract wildlife. C. It's just stupid! D. It's in the rules not to do this. E. Did I mention it's just stupid?

Ya know... I've never seen this thing with flowers. Only brown, dried, and pokey. I've also seen them in stores, and always wondered why people would buy these. They're everywhere!

I'm going to need a black backdrop if I'm going to keep torturing myself with photos of glass. Probably going to need more lights, and at least half a clue also.

My wife got this for me at our favorite Winery while she was out in New England!

Please stand by, we are currently experiencing technical difficulties.

All new photos are currently stuck on the sd card.

...and I'm learning way more about LR's database than anyone should ever know.

...and we're back! Computer is up and running again. Lets see what we have!

I think I'm beginning to have a fascination with corn. Then again, when there's 70 acres of it when you step out of your house, what else is there to be fascinated with? Don't worry though, it'll be soy beans next year!

One of the gazillion clumps of milkweed we have are getting eaten by the Milkweed Moth! Though, I'm pretty sure it's still in the caterpillar stage here.
