I had been sat in a hide in a Kent Wildlife Trust reserve in Sevenoaks for so long, my bum was numb from sitting on the unyeilding wooden seat and to top it all, I had had no luck at all. With everything packed away, save my D300 with the 18 - 200mm zoom attached, I was ready to make tracks for a nice cup of tea, when this Robin flew down and settled on the window of the hide. I ran off a few shots before I caught this shot as the Robin flew right in to the hide, perched on the roof beam and then flew around and back out of the window. Just as well I had the camera set to P and the lens on AF and VR.
