I prefer the second. The second one draw me down the stream and appear like the start (of the stream) is further away.

I have to admit I far prefer the first picture. The leading lines of the stream are stronger, and lead to a more visible area of that beautiful sky.
Gorgeous shots both, regardless.

Both photo's look great but the first one shows the power of the river going down the waterfall.
