The Delaware River was still iced over from our storm last week (I posted these in another thread--sorry for the duplication). The ice in this photo is about 3 feet high immediately in front of where I parked--I think it might be that high from being plowed off the road. This is facing south.
And when I turned around and faced north, this was the view:
At least a lot of the ice is no longer caught against the pilings. Initially the ice covered the river and was up against all of the pilings of all 3 roadway bridges plus one railroad bridge.
