The setup- V2 with the f1 adapter and 70-200 f4, on my new MeFoto tripod. I could use the tripod mount on the f1, but the collar on the lens gives me a perfectly balanced combo.

Is that a Nikon collar on your 70-200? I have an after-market version that I purchased for approximately $30. I like that Mefoto. They're a hot item, especially amongst the hybrid 4/3's crowd.

Not the Nikon, got it on amazon for $25-30, It's surprisingly very good! The MeFoto is perfect for the V2 and for faster shots with the D600.

They are black, this may be the result of me de-saturating the other colors. Leaving the blue in probably made it dominate in the claws. Perhaps he had his claws done ?:)

V2 called into action as my D600 is off to Nikon for the free shutter replacement. As luck would have it, the company I work for needed me to cover another media event. Had I been told in advance, I would not have sent in my D600 last week. Due to security, only a few knew that the Lieutenant Governor of New York State would be there. Not wanting to pass up the opportunity, I grabbed my V2 and 18.5 (50) 1.8, needed the speed as I could not get close enough for flash. I won't post my coworkers, but since the LG is a public figure, here's a shot:

I was able to get 1/160th at ISO400, I think it did well
