Playing down south had it's dangers. I had to put my NY Yankee hat away in some towns or else I'd get razzed pretty good. I remember once, the wife of a pretty well known player (you'd know him) came to my room after they'd had a fight and was..let's put it this way..getting very friendly. The main problem with this was that this guy always carried a rather large firearm with him and was not afraid to use it.This provided an excellent deterrent for romantic inter-reaction. Let's just say it made for a very ha....er..difficult evening.Ok, that one story right there is better than pretty much any story I have from playing the southeast US.
