Once you get used to the new, I think you'll like it a lot better. I go to another forum with this setup and it really works nicely.

Can you describe what setting you want changed? There are probably a thousand different settings in this software. Each setting has a "default" value.
FRED, LIKE YOU, SAY THERE ARE A THOUSAND DIFFERENT SETTINGS.
THERE SHOULD BE A BASE THAT WE COULD RETURN TO IF A SETTING
GETS CHANGED. COULD IT BE AS SIMPLE AS UNINSTALLING AND REINSTALLING NIKONITES?

Okay... We're NOT talking about the same thing here... YOU don't have that many options... If you change something in YOUR profile settings and it doesn't work out, you simply go back and change it back to the other option... Most of the options available to the User are ON/OFF options... An example... If you want to receive email notifications, you simply turn the option ON... If that doesn't work out, you turn the option OFF... On the other hand, the email option in the forum software that is only available to the administrator may be a full page of a dozen different options in order for that feature to work...

There is no option in your profile to reset to a default, that I am aware of... on the other hand, if something doesn't work or seem right to you, there are members here that can help you determine which settings will best suit your needs.

nikonpup, part of the forum was removed and thus lost (and not by jdeg) which is what caused the old forum to give the error code. He had to start over by creating a new forum. But the old forum software was outdated anyway and had its own limitations. Please let me know what hiccups you are experiencing - feel free to either PM me or to post here so we can help you become familiar with how this new forum operates.
