I think it is still a good deal, after all you may change your camera down the road. Also manually focusing will be better for your technique I think as it will make you focus using your body and not relying on the camera to obtain focus. Another thing you could do is buy a raynox dcr-250 close-up filter, this on a 50mm will work close to a 90mm. But would also be manual focus. I use the exact same lens and get some great results. But if you are not comfortable manually focussing then I would steer clear from macro until you are. Macro is mostly about manual focus especially when you get to and beyond 1:1.Even with the manual focus on the d3200 it would still be a good buy?. Or would it be worth saving for a bit longer and getting something that will auto focus.?
