I hope my comment didn't come across as a "dig"; because that certainly wasn't my intent. Looking at it now I can see how it might look like it was. No offense intended.

None taken. I know we all have solutions that we like, and while I like yours on my phone, if I had the same little bubble on the back of my camera that I have in the periphery of my iPhone and iPad I'd be pretty ticked. I've installed 5 of these acrylics over time without a hitch, so I just wanted folks to be aware of the potential risk of one versus the other, particularly if your install location is even remotely dust-prone.

Yes, Invisible Shield, BestSkinsEver, etc. are somewhat of an undertaking. For the readers that aren't familiar with them, they go on wet and you squeegee out the fluids creating a strong bond with the device once it dries. You can, during installation pull it up a bit to remove a piece of dust but it can be a PITA. Once they're on they are definitely better than the dry applications, IMO. It's just a little disconcerting when the first step is to spray your device with their solution. I've installed them on all my iPhones, iPads, MBP, GPS and camera LCDs (top and back). Once you get adept at applying, they're easier to deal with.

IMO, I don't think they're all that necessary but it's worth it to me for the peace of mind.
