Raw software question

See the above thread I started re capture NX-D. There may be others of course but I started this one so thus I am aware of it without searching.

I also posted my cheapskate workflow in the thread which is still working flawlessly with D700 and D300. (combo of Picasa and NX-D ) so I will not duplicate here.

I would buy NIK tools from Google tho if they worked with NX-D or Picasa.....hoping there is a big Picasa update coming with better RAW support and NIK tools or a watered down version....

I am a lot more interested in fast glass than fast computers and expensive complicated software at this point tho I reserve the right to evolve.....

I use most of the time Lr5. It is quick and you can make presets for your camera.
But i have try Capture 8 pro and must say that it a pretty good software to use.
The sharpness is amazing good ;)
I liked it very much, but is also very expensive here...:(
