I had a cousin that lived in Colorado and he told us if he did not still have snow on the mountains on July 4th his water supply would become a problem by October.
Canada's eastern-most province...Newfoundland...had (in some places) up to 72 cm of snow! So....if there are 2.5 cm to an inch, that makes 28.8" of snow! I'm glad I live in the west.
snowpak here is good enough that there will be no problems with irrigation water this year. They just opened the last hwy pass here (chinook pass) 20 ft of snow at the top, took then a month to clear the snow.
