old :-( tomatoes - peppers - lemon cucumbers - summer squash - strawberries - petunias - fuchsias - and more to come as i get these in the ground.

@nikonpup, I see you shot the lightening shots with the same settings with the exception of varying shutter speeds. Were you just playing with various shutter speeds or just shooting long enough to catch the lightening? If you don't mind, please explain. Thanks.

i was in "bulb" i would count to myself and after the shot i would look at the display
to see if i was light or dark and adjust my count. Pictures where taken over about 20 minutes
and at different angles. If it would have been dark i would have just opened the shutter and waited for a flash and then released. It is a little crude doing it this way, i took over 150 shots to get the few it did. Wish i had one of the devices that would trigger the camera on a flash, i would have gotten way more good shots. Except for the rainbow shot all where done on a tripod with a remote.

Thanks for your explanation. I had figured that was probably what you had done. A poor man's timer. Ha!! Just like I have thought about doing.
