We decided that she probably needs to replace it and perhaps do some upgrading, although she really doesn't particularly want to learn a new system. She tried out my Z5, and Z7ii, I offered to let her try the new Z8, but she didn't think she would like it. After much discussion and thinking she came to the decision that the Z50ii would be the best option at this point in time. She is not a technically oriented individual and kind of wants some of the options that the consumer grade gear has to offer. The big upside to the 50ii is the new AF operation. I very gently pushed her this week to make a decision before potential price hikes. Anyway, the new camera is supposed to get here tomorrow. Ordered it with the 12-28 lens, as she uses her 10-20 a lot, and tried it out on the 7ii with the FTZ and had some issues with it adapted. She has a 105 macro and 70-300 as well as an FTZ adapter, both of which worked fine adapted on the 7ii, so she should be set for a while. She almost never uses anything in a traditional normal zoom range, and can use either her 18-55 or 18-200 with the FTZ if needed.
