Rick I'm getting the impression you like trains? (I may be wrong here. ;))

Yea, I always have, just started going out to find them!. They also make a good subject anytime of the year. I tend to shoot in waves, I'll get on something, persue it to death and move on. In a few Months and it will be flowers.

Good job Rick. I think I prefer the color one, not for the color, but for the composition. I find my eyes stay on it more...

Thanks Marcel, I liked this one the most out of the group also, I have a B&W version I'm going to put up for Critique saturday.

Still a very impressive looking structure Rick - despite it's advanced age (approx 150+ years??) or more likely because of it! lol. The Romans were truly ahead of their time with Aqueducts! :)

I'm in agreement with Marcel's comment about preferring the colour version mostly for it's compositional qualities. Nicely done sir.

Not going to get into a debate over this it looks like an old Asphalt factory. That horizontal drum makes me think that. Looks like there is a furnace attached to it. Why would you need that much heat to mix concrete?

Pete will be along soon enough, he will know.

It's rusty so it makes for a great HDR candidate. Nice find Rick.

Your right Pete! I stand corrected. First on my grammar and now on my guessing. I remember seeing something similar down the road and they make asphalt there. I got the mix part right! lol
