here is a close up. i was playing around with macro today and all my shots seemed to be a little out of focus. went out this last time and took off my filter and this is how clear i could get.

I'm not much of a bug person, but I like these, the paper ads another dimension beyond the typical bug on a flower shot

here is another out of the ordinary for me. it always fascinated me about these spiders. since i was a kid i would catch a fly and watch how fast they would get it back in there tube.

Yummy, they say a colorful plate is healthy! Nothing like a meal half your size!

Nice "capture". literally!

some sort of sandpiper
found out today from cornell university that it is a green heron. learn something every day.

well i am still undecidedon what picture to use for my weekly challenge. here is one of them. this young blue jay let me get as close as 2 feet from him so i have many of him.
