My images don't seem very clear. How do you all downsize your files to be small enough to post?

Your images look sharp to me. They take a while to download because of the file sizes. (I've got a really slow service because of my remote location). I will generally take my finished JPG (average 1.5M) and reduce it's resolution to 72 PPI. this gets it down under 600K so it uploads faster. That doesn't seem to hurt the way the shot is displayed though.

To me they look a lot less sharp than the actual JPEG I'm uploading. Maybe it has something to do with my browser (Firefox) settings? Or maybe there's a setting in the forum I need to check out.
