I have a Yongnuo YN568en and a set of RF-603ii triggers. My dilemna is that I cannot seem to get the flash to fire when wireless. Is there some setting that I am overlooking? I thought they were plug and play.
That flash will fire wirelessly when set as a remote (and the Nikon CLS system will trigger) It will also fire with Yongnuo TRx sending to a Yougnuo Rx mounted to the flash. It will also fire when set as an optical slave (Nikon flash on camera being the trigger) but it does NOT have builtin Rx from a standalone trigger...
IOW, it's not the type of Plug & Play you're trying to do...

Which flash unit you have? The YN685 N has a built in radio receiver for the RF603 and 603 II triggers.
If you have the 568 series flash, you need receiver in the flash and transmitter on camera. Does the transmitter trigger the flash remotely when you press the test button?
