It reminds me of that attack on the patrons of the movie theater, after that my wife didn't want to go to the movies. It is only recently we went again. Now she's afraid to go downtown. The psycological effects are going to be very lasting. As more details come out as well as images of the scenes, the scale of this is really beginning to sink in. I just saw what happened on the fringe of the event, imagine those who were right there when it happened. This is really a sad and terrible day for our city, a city that always opens its arms to people from around the world, to students, to tourists. When you think of all the good people here that do things for others all over the world, and then this happens? There's evil in the world that has to be dealt with decisively. I just can't imagine those whose lives are forever changed by this, I really feel for them. And yet there was also so much heroism today for those who stayed to help even with the possible threat of more explosions.
