I was able to make it out to Bushkill Falls in Pennsylvania last week...it was a cloudy Monday with very few people there, making it a perfect day to shoot. This was my first time shooting long exposure waterfalls. I used my Nikon 12-24 f4 and my Hoya ND 64. I was pretty happy with how they all came out. It's hard to narrow down my favorites but I think these are...

Great shots! At first I was going to say that I liked #1 the best, but the more I look, I think I like the last shot even better.

Excellent @TonyD315 -- especially like the last image! :)

Thanks guys, like I said it was the first time shooting long exposure there. I went about 2 and a half year ago, when I was still just getting into photography. I shot hand held, and didn't know much more then the exposure triangle...I compared the two sets and it's like night and day...

@TonyD315 Great shots, Im most likely heading up to bushkill or buttermilk falls this week. Its a beautiful place.

This was my first time there. I was able to pull this off with no tripod and no ND filter. I had the camera leaning on the railing and my body attempting to pull of long exposures well. I think it wasnt bad considering the circumstances.

That's an amazing shot considering the circumstances! I went a few years ago, when I was just getting into photography and didn't know half as much as I know now. Looking back on the photos I took then it's like night and day!

Where is Buttermilk Falls? Is it in the area? I've never heard of it but I'm always curious to check out new places.

Its in NJ but not too far from Bushkill. This is from the other day at Dingmans Falls. This is with a tripod, remote, CPL and ND filter.

Funny, after I posted that I came across this article on Facebook...might have to try and check some of these places out...

I noticed you stacked a ND and CP filter, I was actually wondering about that. Here's a shot I took that I think could have really used a CP and I'm kinda bummed about it...I think I'm going to look into a CP, any recommendations?

Yeah thats exactly what you need. Your reflections looked cool in that shot but it may have been better with a CPL. That shot is slightly oversharpened as well but that may be your style.

Probably should have waited until a little later in the day for more even lighting on this one, but it was already hot has Hades @ 9:00am....
