Ran across this conifer at the cemetery today but have no idea what kind of a tree it is. Perhaps @wev or someone else who is familiar with trees could enlighten me.

Any idea why it was cut down?

it had gotten to large for the space, interfering with a flowering pear tree. After it was cut, found the center was going bad. Picture from 2007 when i purchased the property.

i cannot remove power lines and u think i could do this in photoshop. Walt, i think you spent to much time in the sun on your photo walk.
